How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always had a passion for horticulture, and the metro Detroit area was in need of an Interiorscape company that focuses on quality customer service as well as providing premium, high-quality live foliage.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The attention to detail! Too often I walk into a business and see plants that are old, overgrown and diseased, as well as dirty and damaged containers.
We are a small business, so we can give extra attention to our customers. Our plants are healthy, clean and green. Along with spotless containers in great looking condition. Plants are always top-dressed with fresh moss, stone, rock or bark, and replenished as needed.
Service technicians are certified Michigan Master Gardeners. Why Master Gardeners? Because they have a passion for the business. It's not just a paycheck, it's their career and it shows in their work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the one location, not open to the public at this time. But we have big plans for the future.
