Southern Style Resturant in Detroit
Located in The Historical Grandmont Rosedale Communities District, between West Outer Drive and Evergreen. Baker's 2 Rosedale Cafe is the newest cultural institution, owned by John Colbert & Juanita Jackson (after selling the Historical Baker's Keyboard Lounge in 2011).
This new spot is a hip, casual, "Southern Style" cafe, with comfortable seating, warm hospitality and excellent sound effects to showcase "Legendary Artists" and the "Brightest Stars of Tomorrow.."
Dine on Juanita's "award winning recipes" Southern Style cooking, while relaxing to smooth jazz and easy listening music from Open to Close (8 a.m to 11 p.m). Dine-in late and enjoy nightly, live performances by Artist showcasing their talents for your listening pleasure while dining.
Catering for all occasions, carry out and delivery service available. Space may also, be reserved for private events."
The ever popular Short Ribs of beef dinner is $14.29. Our Traditional BBQ Ribs and Chicken is grilled year round outdoors........

This has become my new Sunday Morning, after Church breakfast stop and when I have a change that after work whine-down dinner spot. Food is good home style cooking. Working my way through the menu but can't get pass the catfish and grits nor the waffle and chicken!!!!
