Ladywood High School is a female, Catholic, college, preparatory school founded in 1950 by the Felician Sisters rooted in the Franciscan tradition and devoted to the fullest academic, spiritual and ethical development of young women in the greater Detroit area. Ladywood draws young ladies from 37 communities and 5 counties within the Metro Detroit area and suburbs. Coming from a magnitude of different backgrounds the student body represents the cultural and socio-economic diversity of the society in which they are being raised.
